Custom Views

View Groups allow you to customize the presentation and selection of content visible to an editor. You can show or hide different columns and filter which content should be included in the group. This allows for an optimized editorial workflow, helping editors to quickly find the content that needs their attention.


Working with Custom Views

Create a Custom View

  1. Navigate to the content for one of your models.
  2. Create a change to the view by either filtering the content in the search bar at the top, or showing/hiding the columns.
  3. At the top of the content window, press "Create Content View".
  4. Provide a name and description and press Create.

Edit a Custom View

  1. Navigate to a custom view in the contextual sidebar of the content tab.
  2. Next to the title of the content view, press the three disclosure dots and choose "Edit Content View".
  3. Apply your changes and press save.

Delete a Custom View

  1. Navigate to a custom view in the contextual sidebar of the content tab.
  2. Next to the title of the content view, press the three disclosure dots and choose "Delete Content View".
  3. Confirm you want to delete.

Create a Custom View Group

  1. Navigate to the content settings tab.
  2. Next to the Content title, press the three disclosure dots.
  3. Choose "Create View Group".
  4. Provide the name and description.
  5. Press save.

Edit a Custom View Group

  1. Locate a custom view group in the contextual sidebar.
  2. Hover at the right edge of the contextual sidebar, inline with the group name.
  3. Press the three disclosure dots and choose "Edit View Group".
  4. Apply your changes and press save to confirm.

Delete a Custom View Group

  1. Locate a custom view group in the contextual sidebar.
  2. Hover at the right edge of the contextual sidebar, inline with the group name.
  3. Press the three disclosure dots and choose "Edit View Group"
  4. Press "Delete View Group" and confirm the deletion.

Organize Custom Views with View Groups

  1. Hover your mouse next to a custom view.
  2. Grab the four-dot handle to the left of the label.
  3. Drag the custom view into any group you would like.

  1. Hover your mouse next to a custom view.
  2. Grab the four-dot handle to the left of the label.
  3. Change the order of where view groups appear.
